In the early 1990s, Marcia Collins, RN began working as a part time study coordinator with a large Family Practice Group in Edison, NJ.

With only one clinical trial running, Mrs. Collins was able to expand on her clinical background in hospital and military nursing to obtain the valuable knowledge required of her new career.

On-site training coupled with a great deal of resourcefulness, she was able to learn the intricacies of clinical trial study coordination.

Following eight years as a study coordinator, Mrs. Collins decided it was time for a change. In the Spring of 1995, Marcia Collins, RN co founded Anderson & Collins Clinical Research, Inc., an independent clinical research facility.

With a small office in South Plainfield, NJ, Mrs. Collins continued to coordinate all of her own studies until she was able to hire additional staff.

A few years later, the success of her company enabled a move to a slightly larger office to accommodate newly hired study coordinators.

In 2003, the office was relocated once again to a larger facility at One Ethel Road in Edison, NJ.

The business has continued to expand with specialized staff to handle the various components of study coordination and administrative responsibilities.
